Smartflow manifolds in various sizes in anodized aluminum and stainless steel

Cooling Water Handling

Manifolds

Water Manifolds help you increase cooling efficiency by providing ample water supply to cooling processes.

Manifolds in anodized aluminum or stainless steel are the platforms for managing cooling water flow in industrial applications. Add flow meters, flow regulators, pressure and temperature gauges along with ball valves and quick disconnect fittings for the greatest flexibility and function.

About Smartflow Water Manifolds

Manifolds are available in many sizes in anodized aluminum or stainless steel depending on the application. Color-coded red and blue anodizing assists with supply and return cooling line identification.

Standard manifolds ship quickly from stock.

Save time on-site with installation by ordering manifolds pre-assembled with ball valves and quick disconnect fittings.

Stainless steel manifolds are 100% leak-tested before leaving our facility.

Aluminum manifolds are made from proprietary extruded 6000 series aluminum, then anodized for corrosion protection.

UK Headquarters office stocks common sizes with BSPP threaded connections for fast shipment to our European customers.

Common Questions About Manifolds

The total area of all ports should be equal to the manifold end to ensure adequate flow to each port.

Consult our Expected rate of flow chart in the “Resources” section of the website. Click here.

Most cooling applications will be well-served by anodized aluminum manifolds.

Conditions that would indicate stainless steel material are: chemical compatibility, copper plumbing upstream from the manifold system, excessive heat, or high pressure.

Always consider the temperature and pressure ratings of the manifolds against operating conditions when selecting a manifold type. See product catalog pages for reference.

Yes! Manifolds can be ordered with various port sizes and spacings if needed. Custom anodizing is also available. Longer lead times apply.

We suggest factory installation of any of our flow meters.

We regularly assemble ball valves and either hose barb or quick-connect male fittings. Contact your Smartflow distributor for a quotation.
